Looking for an after-school nanny for children aged 3 and 6 for the hours of 3pm-7pm Monday to Thursday, 2pm- 6pm on Fridays, with the occasional babysitting or additional hours. We live in E5 – close to Millfields park and the school. Job is to start in at the end of May with a handover period before then. During summer holidays we may require additional hours but not essential.
We have had the same fantastic nanny for years who is sadly moving on and we would like somebody to join us long term.
We are looking for a nanny with personality over years and years of experience. We would like a nanny who would be able to match our parenting style and who is able to support us and care for our all our childcare needs while we are busy working.
We mainly want our children to have lots of fun, to be able to play and learn and develop. Apart of the great care of the children we would also love it if you could:
· School and Activity pick-ups and drop offs with a guarantee of being punctual and provide plenty of notice if running late.
· General playtime and activities – take kids to the playground, library, museums and workshops. Be creative and active in proposing fun things for them to do at home.
· Tidying up – Not expected to tidy the house but there is reasonable expectation to tidy up after the kids and ensure toys and clothes are put away. Cleaning up after mealtimes is also necessary.
· Mealtimes – required to prepare snacks and simple meals for the children after pick-up.
· Babysitting – Babysitting would be favourable but not mandatory. Babysitting to be considered any time after 7pm with additional pay and plenty of notice.
· Travel with the family – we may occasionally ask you to travel with the family and negotiate additional payment based on expected hours. All reasonable expenses will be covered.
Pay will be depending on experience but will be between the region of £15 – £17 per hour.
