Working Days: Monday to Friday 5 days a week ; hours on duty 8am to 6pm.

(Part time option available to do 2 days a week 8am to 6pm)

Family also have much loved pet dog – nannies with dog allergies wouldn’t be able to apply.

We are are looking for a nanny to care for our 15 month old son,  in Highgate.

The ideal Nanny will need to be enthusiastic with a ‘can do’ attitude and be, bubbly, playful, positive and creative.
Establishing an environment in which he will have lots of fun in and continue to develop and thrive.

We want to be consistent in our parenting style which is along the lines of respectful parenting not be confused with passive parenting – eg naming emotions, boundaries are held with emotional support , without labelling or negative responses.

Responsibilities and Duties:
All usual nanny duties

Tidying his toys and area (although they have a cleaner that comes three times a week to help with those)
Preparing and cooking healthy meals, (although they have a cleaner that comes three times a week to help with those)

Organising fun & age appropriate activities within the home

Taking him to age appropriate classes or play spaces outside the home.

Experience/Skills/Characteristics:

Relevant experience as a nanny caring for young toddlers, ideally in a private environment with a Montessori and Forest school approach of education that seeks to develop natural interests and activities rather than use formal teaching methods.

A positive proactive and responsible attitude
Flexible attitude
Common sense and a nurturing nature
Excellent personal presentation and a positive attitude
Discretion and loyalty are essential
A strong work ethic and good time management skills
Strong communication skills and good command of the English language.
